The Gurgaon Cyber City Centre is situated in a top class modern office building in the Cyber City business park. Cyber City is a hub for business process outsourcing (also known as BPO), where firms hire another company to handle business activity for them. Examples of BPO at the business park include call centres looking after customer care help lines, as well as accounting, project management and administration. Gurgaon has emerged as a major world centre for IT and BPO due to its excellent infrastructure and its proximity to the airport and to Delhi. Since the opening of a multi-lane highway between Gurgaon city and Delhi and the extension of Delhi Metro to Gurgaon, it is now much easier to commute between the two cities. The centre is close to fine dining restaurants, shopping malls and banks.
